This PF is clean, equipment is always available, and the management staff was extremely kind. I was in town for a wedding and they were all really accommodating and made sure I could get a day pass. I’d recommend anyone ranging from beginner to experienced to check it out!

Super clean location with friendly staff, lots of equipment, and plenty of parking.
They have a sign up that says "New Strength Equipment Coming Soon" and I asked what that was and was told a Hack Squat machine and some free-weights (which I would love if all the locations added some barbells and stand-alone squat racks and maybe an indoor turf with a sled).
Black Card club includes several newer tanning beds (stand-up and lay-down) as well as hydro and chair massage and red light therapy (hybrid and stand-alone).
Overall, IMO, it's 4.5. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is while it has lots of modern equipment, it does not include individual entertainment systems on the cardio and does not have all the amenities some Black Card clubs have (cold therapy, mediation pods). But overall, a very nice facility.

Really was hoping to give a higher rating once the reno was done and returned a few days a week. I picked up another gym membership but there are a few machines I really like at PF. That being said, place looks awesome but could they have replaced the machines that were and still are chronically broken? Went to PF in FL 2.5 years ago and machines/weights were updated, definitely not what is here. I was told this place was 3rd busiest in state at that time. Tilting on an
uneven machine while lifting weight is not a good time. Staff and cleanliness are always 5 stars.

I have been going to this specific Planet Fitness at W Mason for over a year. I must say that things started going downhill when the renovations began and have been completed already for the past 6 months. My main issue is cleanliness.
The floor has a white film/patina/dust from the demolition and renovations. I just don't understand, once renovations were completed, why didn't the gym do a complete deep clean, ensuring all dust from the demo and renovation?
I invite anyone to place their hands on the floor during their workout, and you will see that it's covered in dust.
To confirm this, I went to other Planet Fitness locations in the area, and this is something that I didn't see in any other gym, had the same issue, and they didn't have the same issue.
* Like I said, I have been going to this gym for over a year. Great staff, clean; however, the demo and renovation should warrant a deep cleaning. I've asked about this to the staff, and they do not know why they haven't contracted a professional cleaning company to post-demo clean the gym.

They remodeled the gym made it bigger more and better equipment, but their maintenance is so horrible. I have to carry my own tools and Oil just to keep things working that I’m using. I’m surprised I have any business at all with the other nice gyms that are around here.
