Dr. Samels is beyond excellent! Definitely worth the hour drive. I have been a patient for many years for exams and new glasses. I recently had an eye issue and Dr. Samels determined the cause and remedy immediately. Scott is go to when getting new glasses but the others are fantastic as well. The best in the business.

I don't like leaving a negative review but here we are. I have received a high level of care from the doctor - forgive me I do not know her name and she's up at the Howard location besides. The negative review comes from how high pressure and poorly informed their sales staff are. They peddled their contact lenses with the promise of a streamlined gift card process having assured me it's issued as soon as I upload my receipts. It is not. I will have to mail in my receipt still and wait 4-6 weeks for the "gift card" to arrive or whatever it is. Going off of their SALES (very clearly high pressure sales staff) assurance that acuvue would issue an electronic card I ordered replacement lenses for my glasses intending to apply my rebate to the out of pocket costs for my lenses. I couldn't stand the yellow tint the blue light filter they sold me on last year.
So, here I am not having paid 2-3x more than my coverage out of pocket for this year's eye care with an incredibly bitter taste in my mouth. My advice for customers current and future is let the doc do the exam and then RUN...don't walk...past the sales staff before they have a chance to lie to you to clutch their upsells. It's definitely worth the extra legwork to order your glasses and contacts from the Internet.

I have always received excellent service after being a loyal customer for ten years. However, it's been a year, and I still haven't received my contacts. I've tried about ten trial pairs and have yet to be successful. Now, they want to charge me for another eye exam despite the fact that I don't have eye insurance, and it's all out of pocket for me. Although they offered to deduct $55.00 off the exam, it will still cost me $125.00. At this point, I need to find a new eye care provider.

I saw Dr. Kyle‘s and in my 10 years of wearing glasses. I have never experienced an eye doctor as thorough and knowledgeable as she is. I was beyond impressed! my past eye doctors have been all wonderful as well, but Dr. Kyle‘s stands apart from the rest because she cares so much, truly, you can tell she is excited to take her job seriously. my honest impression is, she seems to be a natural humanitarian and generally in enjoys, enjoying her part to help others in the best way she can.
another reason why I think she is a wonderful doctor is because she offered to see my son for an eye test, which I have been attempting to schedule for the last three years but every other doctor denied me because my son is nonverbal.
Dr. Kyle’s took it upon herself to elaborate on her degree, and explain her comfortability with children that are nonverbal. I was over the moon to hear this news and before I could even get the thought out, she was already offering to schedule something with my son, expressing she would be happy to meet him and test him.
I really can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kyle’s, she is a true elite in optometry.
her assistant is wonderful as well. I cannot remember her name, but she is a really sweet person has very enjoyable conversation. it’s clear to me that she loves her job and looks forward to going into work.
furthermore, the ladies at the front desk are always beyond helpful and approachable, and just an all-around delight. They are eager to help you in anyway they can and are not afraid to ask, sometimes multiple times throughout a visit.
the team comes together to create a desirable experience every single time. The selection of eyeglasses here is also elite. In my opinion. Every pair of glasses I’ve ever gotten from modernize are complemented excessively. They have a wonderful selection of affordable designer brands that are incredibly beautiful and unique.
dr. Kyle‘s decided to immediately fulfill my request to try contacts out again for the first time in many years. She let me know that there has been many advancements in contact technology in the past few years and that there was a very good chance that it might work for me now, she want to make sure that that was the case before sending me home with any contacts, so she helped me insert a trial pair the same day let me wear them home, and was able to supply me with quite a few changes as well for a very affordable price, I was seriously impressed. the fact that she wanted me to try on the contacts and wait a moment or two to make sure they felt comfortable and they seemed like they were going to work, which is most likely standard but not the same day as it is brought up!
somebody please give all of these wonderful people a raise. They seriously are the best in the business and I can’t say enough good things about them.
they do have three locations in the Green Bay area and there really is no better option in my opinion for eye care so please take my word for it. They are absolutely worth your time, and every dollar in your budget.

I have searched for several years for a new eye clinic, always disappointed in customer service. Modern Eyes GETS IT RIGHT!! The doctors are wonderful, kind & patient & the Opticians are FABULOUS! I have been having difficulty finding lenses that I can see out of & they have worked tirelessly to get it right for me! Lauren & Scott go above & beyond & have never batted an eye, even after having to remake my lenses several times. I honestly just cannot say enough about this amazing staff & highly recommend them to anyone looking.
