I recently moved to Green Bay from Virginia and was looking for a new dental office. I received a few good recommendations from locals and decided to give the Ashwaubenon office a look. Office staff is super friendly and fun to chat with. They make you feel welcome. The initial visit last week was just a evaluation to determine necessary procedures moving forward. Dental team was thorough in explaining everything and answered all my questions. Going back today for my cleaning. Give them a look!

They were very thorough in explaining to me what they felt the best care options would be. They have very kind staff who seemed to enjoy the jobs they were doing, this helped me feel comfortable in their care. I am glad they are the ones helping me improve my smile

I waited for a long time to be seen but was treated nice by the Dentist and the lady that worked with me on the finances were very nice. I felt like I was in good hands and I was very pleased with the final result. The top and bottom fit amazingly so well. I don't even need an adhesive.. I was turned away by other dentists because I was told my gums wouldn't hold dentures. They now stay in comfortably. Thank you to Aspen Dental. I am very pleased.

Long review, but important to read!! My first experience with Aspen Dental occurred approximately eight years ago when I presented with severe tooth pain and requested a simple extraction. At the time, I did not have dental insurance and felt significant pressure from staff to agree to extensive treatment plans and purchase additional items that were well beyond my financial means. I ultimately financed the extraction, which cost over $400. However, when I later received my bill, the total exceeded $1,000. Upon investigating, I discovered I had been charged for a high-end toothbrush, toothpaste, and a water flosser...services and products that were never discussed with me and that I never received. Although the issue was eventually corrected, it took considerable time and effort on my part. Recently, after moving back to the state, I returned to Aspen Dental due to severe tooth pain, choosing them solely because financing was available. After painful and what felt like excessive amounts of X-rays, they decided to extract a tooth. I again paid over $400 and was sent home. Once the Novocain wore off, I realized the original pain had not resolved. I contacted the office immediately and was advised to return. I left work for a second time that day and came back to explain that I was experiencing the exact same pain. The dentist stated "there was nothing visible that should be causing that level of discomfort", which made me feel dismissed and invalidated. I was then told that another tooth had decay nearing the nerve and that I would need to be referred to an oral surgeon for a root canal. I repeatedly explained that I could not afford that procedure and that I preferred to have the tooth extracted to relieve the pain. This request was refused, and instead I was prescribed a week of antibiotics. After completing the antibiotics with no relief and after weeks of managing constant pain with over the counter medication and topical treatments, the pain became unbearable. I returned to the office after three days of no sleep and being unable to eat. Once again, I felt my concerns were not taken seriously. When I explained exactly where the pain was coming from, the dentist stated, “Yeah, that is the tooth we wanted to refer you out for a root canal.” I again pleaded for the tooth to be extracted due to the severity of my pain, but was told the only option they would offer was a referral. I was told that extracting the tooth would leave a visible gap in my smile, which felt irrelevant given the level of pain I was in. I left extremely frustrated and contacted the oral surgeon, who quoted me $550–$700 for the extraction. I then reached out to another dental office in town for a second opinion. After reviewing my X-rays and referral, their dentist stated that extracting the tooth would not be an issue at all and the cost was roughly one-third of what Aspen or the oral surgeon quoted. Based on my repeated experiences, I do not feel that Aspen Dental prioritizes patient wellbeing or listens to patient concerns. I have also experienced questionable and misleading billing practices. For these reasons, I will never return to Aspen Dental and would not recommend their services to others.
