Positives: it's a lovely studio and Kat is obviously very knowledgeable. I appreciated the sign on Webster directing me since my ride share driver dropped me off in the wrong location. The studio has props that students are allowed to borrow for the class. I appreciate the online option since I don't drive and regular attendance would require this.
Negatives: This wasn't what I was expecting for a vinyasa class. I was more reminded of hatha and pranayama as we held various poses and focused on the breath. I also tend to prefer a more mind-body coordinated approach; Kat talked throughout the class about personal matters and memories. I feel as though this teaching style detracts from the experience of being in tune with my body through the practice.
Being on an exploration tour, I appreciate the experience because I'm learning what the local studios have to offer. I'll certainly keep both the positives and negatives in mind if I should choose to try another class here.

There will me more and more Special Events like this this summer at Bay Area Yoga Center! The “Sound Bath with Peter Hess Tibetan Bowls” was soothing, relaxing ... falling into a deep refreshing meditation. And coming soon again “Journey through the Chakras.”

You get a lot more than yoga when you come here. Personally I've gained 1/2 inch in height and severely reduced my sciatic pain. I thought I'd try yoga before going to a chiropractor or physical therapist and I'm glad I did. Not only is it a better deal but I can go on my schedule, in person or online. These classes are very relaxed while still working your body and getting results. The teachers will help to get you in the right position and tell you what your body is doing, sometimes they even sprinkle in a little comedy 😃 A truly judgement free zone - I've seen all ages, sizes, and genders, and I always leave with a happy yogi smile 🧘♀️

Kat is an awesome teacher with decades of experience. Teachers give great verbal adjustments and hands-on on if you are comfortable. Beautiful space with outdoor covered classes in summer. I have done yoga all over the country, and it's difficult to find attention to the students at this high of a level. They focus on fundamentals and proper alignment, not just getting you to sweat.
Great beginner classes available. Movement and mobility series to help with pain (Kat is a certified yoga therapist!). They also have aerial yoga classes now and personal training available now through Stealth Fitness. Definitely give it a try.

Have you ever felt sad about the state of your body? Have you ever felt broken not only because of your lack of flexibility but also the general malaise hanging over you like a cloud. I would highly recommend giving Kat and her teachers a visit. She told me that by the time I was 70 I would need help putting on my shoes if I didn't change my ways. Now I wake up fresh as a daisy and ready for anything life can throw at me! It's a fun establishment full of bright energy. Would recommend.
