Fish tacos are few and far in between in the Midwest compared to San Diego but the breaded fish tacos are amazing and were highly recommended , I ordered both grilled and breaded but by the looks of it breaded is the way to go. Trust the staff!!!! Margarita refreshing. Not heavy or strong. Refreshing. Perfect. Great experience. La crema sauce on breaded is legit speaking from a San diegan. Will visit again.

The seating area is spacious, vibrant, and comfortable.
The service is super fast, and gracious. There wasn't a moment we had an empty cup, chip basket, or side.
The food however was a bit weak. The chips were fresh, and unsalted. Not an issue if your salsa is great, but I had to put a metric tonne of salt for any flavour, and there was no heat at all. The bean dip was interesting but also lacked flavour.
The main dishes were sizeable, and visually appealing, but again lacked the flavour you think of when you crave Mexican.
Not a bad experience, but definitely made for the Midwest palate

Quick and friendly service, very clean, and the food was really good. Might have been the best birria that I have had. Even the chips were good.

The best Chile rellenos I have had. Not spicy, just totally flavorful. The staff is exceptional and listen to what you want. 5 star rating every time. Love this place

Currently on a tour to find the best chips and salsa, lime margarita on the rocks and tacos. Each is rated on a scale of 1-5. This is Taco Tour stop #28
Chips and Salsa: The chips were served with salsa and bean dip. The chips were thick and did not have any salt on them. The salsa was extremely bland and had zero heat. The salsa taste as if it was store bought. The bean dip was the saving grace to the chips, however it isn’t anything that I would specifically come back for, unlike other restaurants we have been to - 1
Lime Margarita on the rocks: These were by far the worst margaritas I have ever had. There was no flavor to it at all and taste like watered down tequila. I had to squeeze some lime that I received with my tacos in my drink to even have a small taste of lime in it - 1
Steak Taco:
Flavor: 2
Fullness: 4
Appearance: 5
You cannot order just a single taco here. If you want street tacos in comes in an order of three. We ordered the steak tacos and asked for onions and a slice of avocado on each taco and to have the cilantro on the side. We each had a taco and then split the third one. The first taco was flavored well…however the second one was salty, and the further into the taco I went the saltier it got. The third taco was so salty it was making my mouth feel like it was burned. The tortillas were fried up really good, which was the only positive with the taco.
Chicken:
Flavor: 4
Fullness: 4
Appearance: 5
If you want American tacos you cannot get just one, the order comes with two. They do ask if the chicken was wanted to be prepared shredded or grilled, which grilled was ordered. As usual it was ordered with cheese and sour cream. The grilled chicken was flavored very well. Some pieces were dry, but overall the chicken taco was a way different experience than the steak tacos.
Service - our server was very nice and attentive.
The slices of avocado we requested came as a half of avocado slices which we were charged $2.59 for. The sour cream came in a bowl on the side and was $1.69.
