Store has friendly staff. I will say the bathroom is disgusting. My daughter had to pee really bad so I took her to the rest room and stepped into something that looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months... we didn't use the rest room we just left quickly and used the restroom at michaels. Idk how employees use it as its covered in all kinds of stuff. I get it, its a pet store but more of a reason to keep it clean. Don't people clean bathrooms in business everyday?

Honestly needs to give this a negative star review, they sold me 2 white mystery snails, get home to only realize they sold me one dead snail, and one white shell. Wasn’t even a body left inside it. This is the second time I’ve had issues with getting snails here.

On February 28, I brought my recently adopted 8-month-old puppy to Petco for her first vet exam and vaccinations. I informed staff at check-in that she had never been vaccinated and had not yet received her rabies shot. They took my dog to the back for the exam without asking me to accompany her. Since this was her first vet visit, she was understandably scared. I later learned they attempted to place a muzzle on her, and during that process, they reported that she “bit” a vet assistant. Given that I had clearly stated she had not received her rabies vaccine, I was surprised that extra precautions were not taken. My puppy weighs only 7 pounds, and from what I was later told at the humane society, the “bite” was not serious and amounted to a tooth scrape. After the incident, the manager informed me they could not continue the exam and that they were required to report the bite to animal control. Later that day, I received a call from a police officer stating my dog had to be quarantined for 10 days at the humane society. This was mandatory and immediate. I had to surrender my anxious puppy that same day before closing. Seeing her placed in a cage for quarantine was heartbreaking. I asked about visiting her and was told visits were not allowed. I was later informed there would be a $400 quarantine fee. While I understand that safety protocols exist, this experience was incredibly distressing. I wish more preventative measures had been taken, especially knowing she was unvaccinated and new to veterinary care. Instead of feeling supported during my dog’s first appointment, I left feeling overwhelmed and heartbroken. I’m sharing this so other pet parents are aware that situations like this can happen and to encourage careful consideration when choosing a veterinary provider.

Great experience. I will return. I got a refund for my online order so I went and spent more than my refund to get local fish. So happy with my order. Thank you.

This is our second visit here with our dog, Skurge, and we couldn’t be happier. Kenya has bathed him both times, and we’ll happily keep making the drive from Oconto. We spent years going to Marinette and had a groomer we trusted, but after they left, our experience slowly went downhill. Skurge is a beagle—dramatic and clingy by nature—but over time he began fighting going in and begging me not to leave, which was heartbreaking. When staffing issues made it harder to get appointments, we tried Green Bay, and the difference was immediate. While Skurge is always vocal and eager to meet everyone, he didn’t fight going back with the groomer—and that spoke volumes. Whether it was a quick nail trim or a full bath, he came out looking great and, more importantly, carrying himself differently. Yesterday, after another bath with Kenya, he walked out with his head held high and tail up. That’s when I truly knew he was being treated with care and kindness. My husband and I don’t have kids—Skurge is our child—and knowing we can leave him here, even for something he dislikes like baths, and trust he’s treated like one of their own means everything. That peace of mind is the best feeling a pet parent can have. 💙
