Good selection and clean. The adoption rooms for animals in the back is always a good place to see especially if you're looking to adopt a cat, dog, hamster, guinea pig, or bunny.

I've been purchasing pet supplies from PetSmart for years. Always feel bad seeing live birds and fish living sad lives in confined spaces. Today was the last straw.
It's so upsetting that companies treat living things so horrendously just to make a profit. These small containers of fish are displayed to make it easy for customers to grab one off the shelf. Make a living hell for fish just for marketing and sales.
Shameful! I will never step foot in a PetSmart again because of their cruelty. There are places that don't sell living things we can buy our dog and cat supplies!

Our pup was having a little difficulty and she needed a couple of touch-ups grooming. They were really kind and took her and and really good with her. If we lived in that area they would definitely be her full-time groomers

Let me start this out with a disclaimer. I am not against chain pet stores. All of my bettas and other fish have been from chain pet stores. I frequent them for supplies and am practically on a first name basis with a local chain pet store. However, this particular location has fish in some of the most heinous conditions in Green Bay. I have needed to go here for their snail selection and Top Fin products, and each time I walk past the betta display, they are filled with sickly, lethargic, and even dead bettas.
I was there two weeks ago for pleco food and saw a male crowntail that was sickly thin and pale. I did not take him but instead chose a female in the same condition. I asked if they honored the PetSmart adoption program and they said no, but they could give me a discount because multiple fish had
developed fin rot. This was because their doors had broke and were letting cold air right onto the betta display. Instead of moving the fish, they allowed them to suffer and develop illness. I was told to wait for a manger to let me know the discount amount. After 15 minutes, no one came so I went to check out and asked. I was told that this pale, thin, white betta (that was supposed to be red and black since she was a koi betta) had fins in good shape, so I’d have to pay full price. I put her back.
A few days ago, I had gone back for a Top Fin light. I saw the same male crowntail I had seen two weeks before and was amazed he was still alive. Today, after finding a place that would take him if I could nurse him back to health, I went to go buy him. He was not there (probably dead, but hopefully bought by a kind soul). So instead, I picked a fish that was on death’s door and had fin rot. I went to the counter and asked about the fin rot discount. I was told they cannot sell fish with fin rot. A manager came to get the fish from me and told me they have to treat it themselves. I informed her there were a lot with fin rot. She acted as if I didn’t say anything.
I picked out a different fish, also with fin rot and swim bladder, but just didn’t say anything. I have pasted photos of the disgusting cup he was living in and a photo of the ammonia readings in his cup. About 1 ppm.
The cups there are filled with slime, green algae, fish waste, and uneaten food. Fish with noticeably bad health are ignored and left to suffer and die. The dead ones are ignored as well as I’ve seen some that are well into decomposition.
I know these are ‘just fish’ but PetSmart’s job is to take care of fish. That is obviously not being done. If you cannot care for them, do not sell them or allow discounts for sick fish. You make no money off of them if they are dead and with the ‘care’ or lack thereof they’re provided, death is almost inevitable for them. Do better.

We had an appointment today for our 12 week old Yorkie Prince for a puppy bath and trim. Dana did an awesome job, he was happy and energetic after his first spa day. This tells us that he was in great care while we were gone. We will schedule with Dana again. Thanks for taking care of our baby.
